GeoMedia Desktop 2016 v16 1 Patch 03

The GeoMedia Desktop 2016 v16.1 patch 03 (16.00.0000.10290) is now available.   

             Instructions to install this patch release:

1. Exit all GeoMedia applications.
2. Ensure that GeoMedia Desktop 2016 v16.1 (16.00.0000.10267) or later is installed.
3. Extract the .zip file to some temporary folder location.
4. Right-click on Update.exe and use the “Run as Administrator” option.

5. After the patch loads, run the GeoMedia Desktop Configuration Wizard to complete the installation.

The following CRs are fixed with this v16.00.0000.10290 GeoMedia Desktop patch:

                        Resolved a problem where selecting ‘Validate Areas’ closes Oracle LTT connection used as Cadastral

                        Connection. CR # 1-ZU4C98

Resolved a problem where the Cadastral Validate Areas command causes an Oracle LTT connection to close.  CR# 1-10A4DFM

Resolved a problem where GeoMedia fails to connect to WMTS that other clients can use successfully.  CR# 1-TT66ZK

Resolved a problem with multiple symbol file (fsm) locations and missing symbol files.  CR# 1-YZSXU0

Resolved a problem where contours are incorrectly attributed as depressions after running Generate Terrain Contours.   This also requires the GeoMedia Mapping Manager Feature Cartographer patch v16.00.0000.00073.  CR# 1-KOTXDZ


Important Note:

This patch is not compatible with language packs created for prior versions of the software.  Once the patch is installed, the GeoMedia Desktop Configuration Wizard will run and will offer only English as a language choice.  You may revert the patch and return to use of your language pack of choice by running the Hexagon Geospatial Setup Manager, selecting the “Update” entry present in the Installed Software list, and clicking Remove.
